The Origins of Yescapa
In 2011, Benoît wanted to travel to the UK with his family in a motorhome. The offers from traditional rental companies were out of his budget, so he decided to go on holiday in a flat in northern Spain. During his stay, he met some tourists who had rented their motorhome from a private individual: a vehicle that was not as new but at an affordable price. This encounter confirmed his idea of creating a motorhome rental service between individuals.
In October of the same year, one of his friends organised the first Startup Weekend Bretagne in Lannion, and he convinced him to come and present his idea. Benoît met Adrien Pinson, with whom he became friends, and together they worked on the "JeLoueMonCampingCar" project. When the weekend was over, they decided to continue the adventure!
