Insurance guarantees offered for stress-free holidays

• Compensation for Bodily Injury;
• Damage to the vehicle with excess. This guarantee is applicable in the event of any accidental damage to the vehicle and its accessories;
• Glass breakage with excess
• Cover in the event of theft of personal belongings up to CHF 2,000;
• Assistance without excess, vehicle guarding costs and recovery;
• Owner's Liability Protection: Reimbursement of the owner's pecuniary loss followed by an increase in the amount of the owner's insurance premium (no-claims bonus) in the event of damage to third parties;

Excess rates

The excess is a deducted from the amount of damage (including theft) done to the insured car-sharing vehicle. The default excess is CHF 2,000 per incident, however, it can be reduced to CHF 1,000 by taking out partial excess waiver insurance for an additional daily cost of CHF 12. The default excess is reduced to CHF 200 in the event of :

• Fire and nature forces;
• Stolen items;
• Glass breakage
• Puncture;
• Animal collision.

Limit to the cover of 150 000 CHF per incident. An insurance excess applies, according to the following principle "one incident = one excess to pay". Each excess will be determined according to the nature of the incident.

Terms

Compliance requirements for the owners' vehicles according to the insurance plan:

• Vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of <3.5T
• Regular and thorough technical checks of the vehicle carried out according to regulations.

Conditions for vehicle renters/drivers according to the insurance plan.

• Must be at least 23 years old ;
• Must have held a Category B driving licence for at least 3 years

Use

The guarantees are acquired for private/leisure travel excluding any rewarded transport of persons and/or goods. Such travel is permitted in Switzerland and in the countries listed on the international insurance card:

• Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Fyrom, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom.

Exclusions

Damage in case of a claim is covered if resulting from an incident which is accidental, sudden and unforeseen nature that took place during the rental of a vehicle rented through Yescapa and for which the cost of repair exceeds the amount of the excess subscribed to. Excluded are items not fixed to the vehicle.
