The KM packages correspond to the total number of kilometres included during the rental period.
There are three different packages: 100km/day, 200km/day and unlimited kilometres.
The 100km/day pass is the basic option. For 3 full days of rental, this package includes 300 kilometres in total.
It is automatically included in the rental price.
The 200km/day pass, which the owner may offer for an additional charge. For 3 days, this package includes 600 kilometres in total.
The unlimited kilometre package, which the owner may offer for an additional charge. It will give more freedom to the renter, allowing him to travel as many kilometres as they wish during the trip.
To update your rates for the 200km/day, unlimited mileage or additional kilometre package or even activate or deactivate unlimited mileage, here is the procedure to follow:
On your account, go to the "My Listing" section;
Select the "Rates" tab;
At the bottom of this page, in the "Kilometre package" section, you can:
- Define your rates for the 200km/day package, Unlimited kilometres or charges for additional kilometres.
- Activate or deactivate the unlimited kilometre package option.
In the event that your renter exceeds the number of kilometres included in the rental, the additional kilometres(on average €0.20 per additional kilometres) will be paid directly when you return your vehicle.
Thus, for 3 days with 100km/day, if your renter ultimately travels 400 kilometres (instead of the 300 initially planned), he will have to pay (400-300)*0.20 cts, i.e. an additional €20.
