Charles presents its capucine motorhome

Our Chausson Welcome 20 motorhome is a little old, it's true, but it's doing a lot to stay young and continue to travel Europe, so don't hesitate and choose it for your next trip to enjoy a reliable motorhome with everything you need without blowing your holiday budget!

  • It has 6 sleeping berths, including 4 for adults, 6 driving berths, including 5 with seatbelts, and above all, the 4 adult sleeping berths are fixed. And that's a luxury when you're travelling, because making and unmaking the bed every morning and evening isn't much fun. There are 2 capucine berths, the most spacious, 2 adult berths in bunk beds, the top one being a little narrower, and 2 'dinette bed' berths for children available by lowering the table.

  • It has a large solar panel, making it self-sufficient in electricity.

  • Its dimensions are quite reasonable for a nasturtium, just under 3 m high and 6 m long. That's great, because it's much easier to manoeuvre around bends and through small villages.

  • It has an efficient heating system with ventilation throughout the motorhome (including the shower), which is very pleasant outside the summer months, as well as a trimix fridge (12V, 220V and gas).

  • It's fitted with a 2.5TD (Turbo diesel) engine, which is very powerful for its time and still works perfectly even on mountain passes: don't worry, you won't be blocking 23 cars behind you because you're travelling at 15km/h as is the case with many motorhomes that don't have the right engine.

  • It comes with a table and 4 chairs so you can relax outside at the end of the day or at breakfast, and an awning in case of bad weather or hot sun.

I've also listed the minor inconveniences associated with age, so as to be perfectly transparent:

  • If you're over 1m87 tall you'll have to bend down as the ceiling height is relatively low, personally I'm just below and don't feel any discomfort but that's good to know.-

  • It's a bit noisy, so it's a bit of a surprise for the first few kilometres, but you'll soon get used to it, I promise.
